Revelation 20° Quilt
It's my first quilt and I couldn't be happier. It is super versatile - so far being used for both backpacking and bike touring - and easy to regulate your temperature. Just use it as a blanket when it's warmer and cinch it up with the straps when is't colder. I've had it down to 25 degrees on an inflatable mattress and slept great. I'm a side sleeper, and it works well on the side even when cinched up. It's super light and packs well.
I purchased this quilt specifically for immediate weight reduction in pursuit of an 18 lb (dry) backpack on the SHR. I spent 7 nights at or above 10,000 ft with this quilt in late September temperatures and no complaints. Temperatures were hitting freezing as evident by ice in my water bottles. I am 5'11", barrel chested, and I purchased a wide long because I sleep on my stomach or sides and found the fit perfect. I used just a liner and no other thermals, to keep the quilt clean from my filthy body. I was very comfortable and warm with this quilt at or slightly below freezing, 20s may be a less comfortable but I'd still have the option to deploy the thermal underware. I am loving this quilt, freedom to turn, roll, whatever without getting bunched up.
