The Revolt APEX V2 is the synthetic version of the Revolt V2. The Revolt APEX V2 is an underquilt designed to keep your backside warm while you’re in a hammock. The Revolt V2’s adaptable suspension system can be used with almost any hammock. It comes in both a short (55" length) and regular (80" length) version. The regular sized version provides full body warmth, and the short version relies on booties and/or a sit pad to help insulate your feet. Easy-to-reach shock cords attach to your hammock ridgeline and allow you to fine-tune the position of the Revolt V2 easily while lying down.

The synthetic Revolt APEX maintains performance in warm and humid conditions and is easy to clean.

Important Note: Custom orders cannot be changed once production has started. Returned custom orders (or custom orders cancelled after production has started) will incur a 20% restocking fee. No exceptions.

Revolt APEX under quilt.

I took it out for the first time last night, and performed well. My only complaint is that I when I
purchased this under quilt I got it with Charcoal 10d on the outside, and Salmon 7d on the inside with a synthetic insulation. Since it is under me I wanted it that way so if it gets wet it won't turn to slop. I ordered my top quilt the same materials 10d charcoal, and 7d Salmon, but got Down instead. Well the 7d is sheer, and can see through it quite easily. So the down, and the APEX look totally different. The site doesn't state how sheer the 7d is, but now I know. Completely just a vanity thing. Out on the trail I could care what the colors are, but maybe a statement saying that down, and APEX look totally different. Ill post pictures of them side by side for a comparison.

X-short, 50 Deg, 20D and 10D, <9oz

If someone thinks getting into a 36 degree sleeping bag will provide enough bottom insulation for an August night in Shenandoah NP, they'll know if they made the right decision in less than a minute. That's how I got here. I knew that the insulation of the bag would compress under my weight, but I misjudged how much warmth it would retain by a couple of degrees - I wasn't really cold, just not comfortably warm enough to sleep well without pulling out every trick in the book and using every piece of gear that could possibly help.

I'm very happy with my purchase, this UQ and my 50 deg TQ together weigh less than the sleeping bag. Good for summer, still may need to wear a hat and slide my sit pad under my butt on occasion. The suspension system has me a little confused though, seems like there's a lot more elastic cordage than necessary, I think the suspension makes up a third of the weight of this smallest of underquilts. I'm going to compare the suspension to another quilt and see if it can be modified for simplicity and lighter weight.
