Whether you’re getting an early start on a thru-hike or winter camping, the Snow Wrap offers multi-use warmth in camp or on the go. As an alternative to insulated pants, the Snow Wrap is a more versatile item and has better ventilation for active use. Built using our ultralight fabrics and continuous filament Climashield APEX synthetic insulation, the Snow Wrap offers great all-weather performance and moisture tolerance.

The exterior fabric is durable, waterproof 15D silnylon, so you can use the Snow Wrap as a sit pad in snow. The shock cord waist closure allows you to customize the fit, and reinforced snaps allow you to vent as needed and have a full range of movement. You can also use the Snow Wrap as a blanket, a dog quilt, a pillow, or even extra insulation around your torso on the coldest nights.

Important Note: Custom orders cannot be changed after order placement. Returned custom orders (or custom orders cancelled after production has started) will incur a 20% restocking fee. No exceptions.

What a wonderful piece!

It is so clever, the snow wrap.

I wear it a lot during the cold months, also when there is no snow. When hiking, it allows free movement and quick adjustment of temperature compared to any other clothes that I know off. I also use it a lot for ordinary outdoor life, like bicycling and gardening, because it is rather addicting to wear it. Also so clever for sitting when the ground is cold. Absolutely worth all the customs I had to pay on top of the price in order to get it into Europe.

Only wish that the custom made options would also include the length and the width independently from each other, just like it is by the quilts (I don't really care about the colors, but fit is important to me and this could be better since they are custom made anyway). I ordered M in order to get it long enough (and I am happy that I did so my knees stay dry in the cold rain/snow), but I would have preferred S for the waist size. As it is now, it is a rather bulky around my waist and the wast string scratches against my hips as I cannot close it tight enough to fit perfectly well.

Great piece of gear!

I took the snow wrap on a backcountry camping trip at Big Bend National Park -- it was down in the 20s/30s and WINDY (not sure what the temp was with the wind chill) and the snow wrap was great! I stuffed it down in the footbox area of my 20 degree bag and it kept my feet nice and toasty warm -- when it was in the 30s I didn't even need to wear socks! My feet always got cold before this -- so impressed. I could get dressed in the tent and put it on first thing in the morning, then take it off as I warmed up from hiking. I also wore it over shorts on the days when it wasn't quite that cold. I haven't had a chance to test it in snow yet but it seemed to shrug off mist and rain. Annnnd I used it in the car too! Great piece of gear! The only negative? People kept asking me what it was lol!!!
