Perfect for any chilly days along the trail, the Torrid Hat is made with our customized ultralight fabrics and CLIMASHIELD™ APEX synthetic insulation. The Torrid Hat insulates your head and ears in damp, cold, and windy conditions, and the 2oz/yd² CLIMASHIELD™ APEX insulation gives you excellent all-weather performance and insulates your head even when wet.
The fabric is a smooth, ultralight nylon that offers wind resistance and a DWR finish to repel mist, snow, or sweat. A super-soft, lightweight microfleece lines the brim and ear flaps to keep the Torrid Hat comfortably on your head. When not in use, the Torrid Hat will stuff just about anywhere in your pack. It’s also easy to wash, and dries quickly.
