The Uprising Underquilt is intended for experienced hammock users. Tapered from head to toe and slimmed down through the middle, its ultralight design provides warmth in the places you need it most. With a full fill through the torso, the foot of the quilt is ½ stuffed and designed to be used in conjunction with a sit pad or pair of sidekick booties!

The Uprising is easy to adjust, and the suspension channel cuts away from the lower third of the quilt to aid the diagonal lay of the underquilt under the hammock.

Solid Product

I'm a big fan of EE gear. The quality is top notch. Extremely light weight, warm and easy to pack. The setup is quick. Love it!

I am mixed on this product...

and need more time to evaluate. Workmanship is as expected from EE but I wonder about the loft/temperature ratings they use. I would definitely consider them minimum ratings, not comfort, and not survival--so in the middle category--which I wish companies would be more transparent about. However, you just can't use the EN/ISO testing standard for underquilts because of the increased convection exposure and other dynamics that are absent from a ground sleeping system. It took me a while to dial in the fit, compared to my Revolt which was quicker, and get used to the modified primary suspension mated with the clips on my Dutchwear Chameleon. I suspect in time I could/may give this a 4 star rating.
