Quilt or sleeping bag? With the Convert, you get to decide every single night. The Convert features a full-length zipper and an adjustable footbox with a shock cord that can be completely closed, completely open like a blanket, and everything in between, allowing you to dial it in for a comfortable night’s sleep no matter where you are. You can also zip one Convert to another Convert to create a large sleeping bag for one or two.

Even with the full coverage the Convert offers, it still weighs less than most sleeping bags on the market thanks to our ultralight materials and no-fuss design.

Important Note: Custom orders cannot be changed once they are in production. Returned custom orders (or custom orders cancelled after production has started) will incur a 20% restocking fee. No exceptions.

Convert custom

I’m a big guy at 240lbs and love the ability to customize the sizes!!!!! Bought a XL 40 degree convert for a 3 season bag and it has worked well. Went to northern Michigan in mid-October with 30 degree nights and used it as a hammock under quilt and it was perfect. Stayed nice and toasty along with my conundrum in the hammock.
Only complaint is that the snap at the top broke when I first opened it in my living room, but a little super glue and it’s held up fine since.
I’m quickly becoming an enlightened equipment loyalist.

Very happy with this and one suggestion

I just got my quilt/bag later in the summer and was able to take it out on a 5 night trip. Since I'm in Northern Cal, and our backpacking elevation was around 8,000 feet, the nights stayed fairly warm (low 50's...) so, I was not able to really tell if this product would keep me warm and toasty. Also, I have a zipper in mine and I was a little disappointed by the quality of the zipper. It is not a two way / double zipper, which I would have considered should be standard for such an expensive product. Also the quality of the zipper seems lower quality--again probably because its a light zipper, but that seemed not 'on brand.' Besides that, I really do love it--so far. Ask me next season and I'll have more to add.
