Quilt or sleeping bag? With the Convert, you get to decide every single night. The Convert features a full-length zipper and an adjustable footbox with a shock cord that can be completely closed, completely open like a blanket, and everything in between, allowing you to dial it in for a comfortable night’s sleep no matter where you are. You can also zip one Convert to another Convert to create a large sleeping bag for one or two.

Even with the full coverage the Convert offers, it still weighs less than most sleeping bags on the market thanks to our ultralight materials and no-fuss design.

Important Note: Custom orders cannot be changed once they are in production. Returned custom orders (or custom orders cancelled after production has started) will incur a 20% restocking fee. No exceptions.

Lightweight solution for bigger backpackers

I ordered a 20 degree long extra-wide convert as I found even the Nemo spoon bags to be too tight through the chest and shoulders. The convert is a perfect solution as I can zip it up and sleep comfortably. The option to use it as a quilt on warmer nights makes it that much more versatile for my backpacking needs. I highly recommend the convert to anyone who is struggling to find a more traditional lightweight sleeping bag in extended sizes. Like the sticker says, I love my EE quilt!

First time quilter

Recently took my 10 degree to the Sierras for a little backpacking trip. I’ve never owned/tried a quilt before but really liked the idea of being able to blanket it out or adjust as need be since I move around a lot when I sleep.
Temps dropped to 20 and, while I was fully dressed with puffy jacket underneath, I was ‘comfortable’ while being able to feel the chill. Any colder and the bag would not have been adequate. They say add 10 degrees and that felt about right.
Also, the zipper is very finicky and jams up often regardless of how careful I am. Perhaps a slightly broader toothed zip would bind less? Just some feedback.
Over all I am happy with my quilt and look forward to using it on my adventures. :)
