The Hoodlum is designed to be the perfect head warming accessory for your Enlightened Equipment top quilt, though it can also be used entirely on its own when out on an adventure. Using our ultralight breathable fabrics, and synthetic insulation for warmth, this will keep your head and face warm in all situations, wet or dry. The Hoodlum face enclosure can be left open or snapped closed, to leave more or less airflow as desired. A thin, light shock cord runs over the forehead and around to the back of the hood, which allows you to comfortably secure it to your head, allowing you full range of motion without obstructing visibility, and when you want the hood to cover your eyes to sleep, just pull the cord over the front of the hood and cinch it down tight. One size fits most.

Superb -- better than alternatives

I used the 0° last winter. I've had a chance to compare it with the (down) Zpacks Goose Hood, made by Goosefoot gear. I like the Hoodlum MUCH better. Why? - Hoodlum doesn't have the special care issues that down alternatives do - Hoodlum seems to breathe better - Hoodlum is easier to pull down over the top of my face The Hoodlum is now one of my favorite items in my winter kit.

Awesome noggin warmer

I hedged on buying my 20°-40° Hoodlum initially; I'm glad that I pulled the trigger and purchased it with my Revelation. It's exceeding light, warm, and very adjustable. I have worn it several different configurations depending on temps, and there are several more possibilities. I've had it down to the lower 20°s and my head stayed toasty. I don't really like jackets with a hood, so my Hoodlum fills the need when I wear it with my down jacket- on the trail or in camp. As for fit, I have a rather large head and the Hoodlum fits great. Thanks EE!
