Great UQ--no issues so far
I needed a high temp rating for summer camping since I already had everything from +30 degrees to -40 covered. So, I created a spreadsheet with all the vendors I was interested in and EE came out on top for specs. EE is one of the few offering 950 fill. Some folks think 950 fill is overkill but I am willing to pay a little extra for it. The EE specs were the best and the price was only a little higher.
I ordered the 50 degree UQ from EE and it has already kept me warm over 10 nights this year so far including one at 30 degrees. I was pleasantly surprised that I didn't have to add the 3/4 quilt that night because it means I have all temps from -40 to +80 covered now with one UQ (no need for UQ above +80). I do a lot of winter camping in MN and this will definitely be coming along in case I ever need any additional warmth or something happens to my -40. Full disclosure . . . in below zero weather I sleep with a (very) thin base layer on head, torso, legs and feet and sometimes hands if it is below 10 degrees.
Quality of the workmanship is excellent and it looks and feels like this will last me quite a while.
