Ideal ultralight cold weather pad

I have been looking at the NeoAir XTherm pad for years and thinking about getting it - I finally pulled the trigger and I'm glad I did. I'm 6'0", ~ 190 lbs. I've been using the Thermarest NeoAir xlite for years, size regular. The xlite pad has been perfect for my summer adventures, and I added a blue foam pad beneath for wintertime (I frequently winter camp in the boundary waters in northern MN). I decided to upgrade to the NeoAir XTherm for winter camping, and it is still superlight (15 oz for size regular) and is warmer all by itself than the 2-pad system I had described above. I have only used it on one trip so far, but I could tell the difference in the amount of cold I could feel below me on the 2 different setups. I bought this as a long term investment and plan to use it for many years, just like I've done with the XLite. There are wider pads out there (including on this model) but I've grown accustomed to this width and will often set a stuff sack next to it for my elbow when laying on my back. When laying on my side, I don't need to make any adjustments. This spring and fall I plan to use it with my enlightened equipment quilt in cooler weather and I know it will keep me warm enough. I highly recommend it.
