Quilt or sleeping bag? With the Convert, you get to decide every single night. The Convert features a full-length zipper and an adjustable footbox with a shock cord that can be completely closed, completely open like a blanket, and everything in between, allowing you to dial it in for a comfortable night’s sleep no matter where you are. You can also zip one Convert to another Convert to create a large sleeping bag for one or two.

Even with the full coverage the Convert offers, it still weighs less than most sleeping bags on the market thanks to our ultralight materials and no-fuss design.

The following temperature ratings coincide to the quilt colors:

    • 40° - 10D Forest exterior, and a 10D Black interior

    • 30° - 10D Burnt Orange exterior, and a 10D Charcoal interior
    • 20° - 10D Navy exterior, and a 10D Charcoal interior

    • 10° - 10D Purple exterior, and a 10D Black interior

If you need a size, temperature, down fill, or color that isn't available here, consider ordering a custom Convert

Convert

I’ve owned a couple of different quilts and picked up the convert used. It’s a 30* bag and I’ve used it for almost a year now. I bought it in September of 2108 and used it hunting in SW Colorado from September to November. With my cot and layering system I stayed warm. I have used in 2019, most recently on a set of hikes in Oregon that while they weren’t cold, I fought condensation quite a bit. It was nice having the quilt dry pretty quick from just hanging it out on a line.

My biggest beef is with the zipper, I’m learning a new level of patience as I seem to always get it snagged on something, either the bag or my bivy. It comes undone just as easily as it gets snagged, but I have to mentally prepare myself for the struggle with the zipper as I get ready for bed each night.

10 degree convert

If my house was on fire, I’d run out with my quilt! Not kidding. 1st night on the AT and temp was in the 20’s... oh so toasty was I.
