Women's Copperfield Wind Shirt

The Copperfield Wind Shirt is so light it will disappear into your pack or pocket. Great for using alone or pairing with an insulating layer when you need to manage the wind and trap warmth that would otherwise be lost. Whether on foot, wheels, or water, the Copperfield will provide a high level of value to anyone who spends time outdoors. With a weight starting at 2.15 oz (61g), there’s no reason not to take it.  

Fabric:

    • Ultralight nylon fabric. Available in Charcoal 10D. Fabric colors might appear slightly different from images shown. Read more about our Fabrics.
    • All Fabrics are PFC Free, and use a C0 DWR.

Fit:

    • Sizes run about a half size large for layering purposes.  
    • Fits directly over a Torrid Jacket of the same corresponding size.

Features:

    • Hood includes an adjustable shock cord pull string to lock out drafts.
    • Raglan style sleeves to increase comfort and range of motion.
    • Elastic wrist closures and adjustable shock cord waist.
    • Full length, lightweight #3 YKK zipper.

Perfect

I love this lightweight layer. Fits a little smaller than the torrid jacket of the same size, but still very roomy.

So light and so useful

I bought the Copperfield wind shirt to go over an Alpha direct fleece as a summer camping substitute for a light puffer jacket and it worked perfectly. It’s super lightweight, and can be shoved in a pocket once you warm up. And you WILL warm up because the jacket really helps keep your heat in. The 10d navy is not at all transparent. The service from EE was superb. (I had to order custom because they were out of stock in my size.). I got great advice at the front end to order the large, even though I have an extra large Visp (in part so I can wear it over a puffer), and then responsive service on making sure the Copperfield arrived in time for a trip. I think the Copperfield will also be really useful for biking as well as backpacking.
